La DFSA ha chiarito che i portafogli di questo tipo non rientrano nell'ambito del regolamento MiCA e che non è stata proposta alcuna forma di divieto. La DFSA ha sottolineato che i portafogli di criptovalute con custodia autonoma non danno la custodia delle chiavi private al fornitore del portafoglio e quindi non sono regolamentati da MiCA. Alcuni portafogli software che offrono servizi decentralizzati integrati potrebbero essere soggetti a regolamentazione indipendente se non sono completamente decentralizzati.<

The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA) has denied social media rumors that it has proposed to ban self-custody cryptocurrency wallets. The DFSA clarified that these types of wallets are not covered by the MiCA regulation and that no ban has been proposed. The DFSA emphasized that self-custody cryptocurrency wallets do not give custody of private keys to the wallet provider and therefore are not regulated by MiCA. Some software wallets that offer integrated decentralized services may be subject to independent regulation if they are not fully decentralized.
