URGENT: Only 47% of newly constructed apartments in the fourth quarter of 2023 were rented within 3 months of completion, the lowest percentage recorded in the past 12 years. This is a decline from the peak of 74% recorded in the third quarter of 2021 and just above the 44% recorded in the first quarter of 2020 when the pandemic hit.
