The US Department of Justice is seeking to get Boeing to admit to criminal wrongdoing after discovering that the company violated an agreement relating to the fatal 2018 and 2019 737 MAX accidents that claimed the lives of 346 people. The Department of Justice is expected to formally offer the confession agreement to Boeing in the near future. Both Boeing and the Department of Justice have declined to comment.
